Okay, so probably... this is my last post in this reflective blog. The ICT course has actually taught me many useful things, and I could learn many new platforms, methods or tools from my lecturer, Ms. Huong so as my nice and friendly classmates. Going through this online course has also been a very valuable learning experience. As an English lecturer, it has expanded my understanding of the many possibilities that exist for enhancing instruction through useful use of digital tools and resources.
After ICT course, we had a chance to complete our final project in group of three members. Our group includes Ms. Bich Hong, who is also my colleague, Ms. Huong Giang and me. All of my teammates are very hard-working, friendly and very supportive to each others so we could discuss as well as share our opinions about not only our final project but also any other things such as our daily teaching skills, teaching resources and so on. And as I can see, it's lucky for me that I could have a chance to co-work with Ms Hong, who is very hard-working and always willing to find out answers for her wondering, and Ms. Giang who is energetic, kind and is very supportive, too. However, due to a shortage of time and busy schedules, we had quiet less time to contact or work well with each other.

In the ICT course, we had the opportunity to explore various technology tools. However, we made a decision on choosing the Padlet online platform to design beautiful and informative dashboard and save our thoughts about what we have learned. We realized that using Padlet can help us deal with our problems that we could use to summarize our lessons. Padlet (https://padlet.com/) is an online platform that allows us to create visually appealing and interactive post from members and the shared audiences as well.
Through our last project that we decided to do research on Ms. Giang's IELTS class which is for the 11 graders. The most challenging part in our project is that I couldn't see her students in person to interact with them. In addition, we used Canvas to manage her class but it is still new to her students so they found them a bit challenging at first. Despite this, we still overcame and took note about our lessons and our students as well. Through our discussion and observation, we could adjust our lesson, handouts, due dates for their homework and activities to be more appropriate for them. After that, I could actually know how to create and publish a better course platform to help improve and manage my class from both online and offline classes.
Overall, this course has provided me with many useful and powerful methods to learn about technology integration. It also has significantly increased my ability to apply technology in my teaching ways through blended learning approaches, project-based activities and more effective designed assessments. I could actually feel renewed enthusiasm in trying new digital platforms, methods and resources that could help take my students' language development further both in class and at home. It has truly expanded my knowledge and skills as a language teacher.
And lastly I want to at is to say a sincere thanks to Ms. Huong who is always care for every single hours while we're studying through Zoom. I could still know less like myself before without her useful and informative lessons.
Thank you, everyone for spending times reading my last blog of this precious course! Have a nice day!
I must say that it is my pleasure to work with you in this project. I think that after this project, we have learnt something from each other. As a teacher with a limited ICT competency, I have got great support from you in creating a course on Canvas, which I really appreciate.
